The FOURIER project has moved from an initial concept to a complete operational prototype of a building-integrated photovoltaic system.
Photovoltaic modules, designed by Camlin Group (Henesis office) in partnership with Eurac Research, Focchi Group, Applied Materials Italia, IMEM-CNR, and GruppoSTG – The Italian Photovoltaic Factory, have been integrated into façade elements by Focchi Group and are now undergoing rigorous testing at the state-of-the-art Facade System Interaction Lab located at Eurac Research’s external facility in Bolzano’s NOI Techpark.
Eurac Research leads development, testing and evaluation of the façade that incorporates insulating glass units. These initial assessments, combined with electroluminescence test results, are now guiding further development of the project.
